Construction of a run-of-the-river hydroelectric power plant at the crossroads located in Pizzighettone (Cremona) on the Adda River.
The powerhouse contains two turbines for the production of energy is almost entirely built under the ground level within an excavation supported by over 10,000 m2 of reinforced concrete diaphragms and over 20,000 m3 of jet grouting bottom plug.
The project included the construction of a rubber dam, that is an inflatable dam integrated with the reconstruction of the weir. This is able to regulate the flow of water entering the plant through a pneumatic automation and the construction of powerhouse with an installed capacity of 4.3 MW integrated in the territory around of Parco Adda thank to underground structure.
